Rocks and Ropes Girl Scouts

Have we told you lately how incredible brave our Girl Scouts are? Because oh my gosh our girls the most courageous, amazing people! Check out these photos we received from the Rocks and Ropes program girls that went to Rattle Snake Point in Canada from GSWNY Camp Seven Hills! Try not to get vertigo looking at these pictures!

Today is a hot day at Camp Seven Hills. One staff member is spreading a rumor that Holland has 95% humidity today, which may very well be true. So of course our campers will be drinking lots and lots of water!

Our campers just enjoyed a Harry Potter-themed lunch while eating tacos. Please see our Flickr page for images of the girls, their wands, and our own Seven Hills Whomping Willow: Photo Link. Other themed meals this week will include a Spy Lunch on Thursday and Pajama Breakfast on Friday.  Please note that the photos displayed are random.

P.S.: Girls can do amazing things with Girl Scouts all year long – click here to learn more! Plus, the first 50 people to renew for 2018 Camp by August 13th, 2017 will receive a 2018 Camp sweatshirt (2018 Camp re-registrations for this promotion can be done in person at camp by August 13, 2017). Also, create an account in WordPress and enable the browser notifications to get instant notifications about new camp blog posts even when you are not actively using WordPress.com.

P.P.S. If you have any photos of dropping off your camper that you’d like to share, we’re excited to see them! We’ll post them on social media, plus we’d love to possibly use them in future marketing materials. Send your camper pics to communications@gswny.org with your girl’s name and camp unit or program, plus if she a first-timer or a repeat camper.
