Camp Seven Hills has come to our last full day with some of our campers once again! Our NYC campers got back to camp in the wee hours of the morning, and got to sleep in late with a cookout brunch. They had a blast there the past couple days, and were super busy exploring! See NYC pictures here.
This morning after breakfast, Camp of Champions campers headed to Nature and got some practice making one-match fires–a challenge that would come in handy at their cookout later! Saddle Savvy got some time at Arts and Crafts painting barn signs, while campers in Highland went boating and those in Sugarbush took some time at the pool. Sugarbush took some time to play drip drip drop–a play on duck duck goose but played with a bucket of water! They soon had to put the games away when the rain came to play…and won.
After lunch, Saddle Savvy took some time to ride their horses under the watchful eyes of our riding instructors! Tally Ho practiced their skit in Wettlaufer, the drama building, and Highland painted some rocks in Arts and Crafts with a few CITs! Plainsman campers shared the gaga pit with returned NYC campers, and Clue hosted a Clue game in unit! Our CITs got some time to try out the climbing wall with their director Linus and ropes director Luna! It was scary, but some of them were seriously considering their futures as ropes instructors by the end.
Our dinner tonight was Goofy’s (our camp director) stardust diner! Counselors sang their heart out all through the meal, much to the enjoyment of campers. Right after dinner we moved into our closing campfire, where we started to say goodbye to some of our campers. See pictures here.
