Some ambitious campers woke up extra early for road runners (exercising) and polar bear (swimming) before breakfast today. A couple units decided to enjoy a cookout breakfast this morning–our brownies in bunkhouse and programs in Sugarbush cooked over the campfire for their meal! After breakfast, each unit split off to enjoy their activities of the day!

Camper vs. Counselor started off the day visiting the Tuck Shop and grabbing some fun souvenirs, like our Molly the Whale socks. In between everyone getting a turn, the group decided to play human knot–everyone stood in a circle and grabbed hands with someone across from them, and, without breaking their grasp, twist back out of a knot and into a circle. Saddle Savvy took some time to play with rings and kickboards at the pool while Camper vs Counselor made one match fires with our nature instructor Feather and Clue campers played gaga ball. Our CITs made some beautiful shirts at Arts and Crafts, where they painted designs in bleach onto black t-shirts.

Two more groups decided to make a cookout lunch this afternoon! Camper vs counselor made some pie iron pizza and grilled cheese, with chicken wing dip and zoey cakes for dessert. Over at Highland, Camp of Champions roasted garlic knots on the fire before digging in on raviolis and dirt and worms for dessert!

After lunch, the Clue group worked on some top secret crafts that can only be assumed to be decorated zip bags. Over at drama, Bucket List was busy practicing their skit for all camp on Friday. During all camp, they’re planning on performing a scene from Hamilton! Today, they practiced their lines under direction from some of the CITs. Bucket List soon moved to Arts and Crafts to make some playbooks and props for their performance! Meanwhile, Camper Vs Counselor had a race in the pool–Counselors won both times so the campers might have some catching up to do this week… Secret Mission brownies had some time to play with water balloons and the hose out at sports! What started as a calm toss soon turned into an all-out mission to get their counselors Applesauce and Panda as soaked as possible. Camper Vs Counselor worked on tie dyeing before dinner while Camp of Champions took their time in the pool.

To continue with our Broadway themed week, dinner sided Pink (Glinda) against Green (Elphaba) in a *Wicked* battle. Broadway jamout pt 2 and theater-themed coloring pages were our choices for camper’s choice this evening. See pictures from today here.
