Session 2 Friday

What a way to end the week! Today’s seven hills campers spent the entire day today together as a camp. Our breakfast was low-key since everyone was invited to come in their jammies. The CITs had their very own private pajama breakfast cooked over a campfire in their unit–pie-iron pancakes and sausage!

After everyone had had some time to relax and pack if they needed to, our big activity of the day could begin! Tuba, our program director, invited the entire camp to the Tina Awards!! Each unit performed an abridged version of their favorite musical to the rest of camp. We covered quite the range! Bunk House acted out scenes from Beauty and the Beast; the CITs took us through the entire plot of Frozen; Highland performed a song from The Greatest Showman; Plainsman acted out “Prince Ali” from Aladdin; Sugarbush sang “Alexander Hamilton” from Hamilton (and even got their counselor Sweet Corn to participate); Pinehollow belted not one but two songs from Annie; and Tally-Ho created their very own musical all about their recent trip to New York.

It was soon time to move onto Friday Follies, a camp tradition where anyone is invited to perform in whatever way they so choose. Some campers sang, acted out skits, or showed off other skills!

All too soon, it was time to say goodbye to our session two campers! We hope that they will have great memories of Seven Hills, as they were part of what makes our own memories so sweet! Our two-week campers had some time to play capture the flag, before settling down for dinner then a movie. See pictures of today here!
