Session 3 Sunday

pictures here!

Welcome back to another Sunday at Camp Seven Hills! Our two week campers who stayed over the weekend were busy with lots of exciting activities on Saturday. Some of our campers joined the horse staff in painting the horses (which is not, as the media director briefly suspected, a fancy equestrian activity. They quite literally put paint on the horses). Saturday afternoon offered a camp pool party!

Camp fun and games continued for two week campers while some staff welcomed new session 3 arrivals! This week we are hosting Molly’s Slumber Party; a Namaste program; Perfect Shot, our archery program; Cupcake Wars; On Belay, a climbing program joining our 2 week Climbing Masters on ropes; Clue solving mysteries; Riders Ready and Saddle Savvy coming back for more time in the barn; and last but not least our CITs!

Campers were shown a tour of camp, had swim and riding tests, and grabbed a dinner of pizza and ice cream! After dinner, the entire camp gathered for the opening campfire. Each unit’s counselors performed skits and campers were taught songs new and old. This week’s theme is Battle of the Colors–each camper was given a red or blue flag, and they cheered on their team captains throughout the campfire, and even throughout a tug of war! Blue may have won 100 points for the tug of war, but red won’t let them get away with it for long! Tomorrow is sure to be a busy day as new campers get into the swing of things and our returners show them the ropes! Pictures can be viewed here!
