Session 3 Wednesday

Halfway through week 3 at Seven Hills! As always, road runners and the polar bear swim were extra early before breakfast activities that some brave campers took on. After some waffles for breakfast, all of our exciting activities could begin! Pine Hollow had some time to shop in the Tuck Shop this morning to buy all of the tshirts, flags, blankets, and other souvenirs they’ll need to remember camp. Highland went on a hike with our nature educator Feather to find some of the “lost” units–old buildings and areas of camp.

Meanwhile, Tally Ho played gaga ball, and Climbing Masters took on the dangle duo–a giant ladder suspended on wires that partners have to work together to climb up. Perfect Shot campers moved on to Arts and Crafts and got creative with some toilet paper tubes to make their own slingshots. Plainsman tried their aim with archery, and Highland and Tally Ho got to try out boating!

Lunch in the dining hall was small today because of all the fun lunches going on! Brownie Lodge, Pine Hollow, and Highland all had their cookout today. They worked to build fires and cook things like pie-iron pizzas, grilled cheese, and hot dogs, with zoey cakes and s’mores for dessert.

After lunch Highland had their turn in the Tuck Shop and Tally Ho followed along to a Bob Ross tutorial to make some happy little mountain paintings. Brownie Lodge enjoyed their time in the Tuck Shop, and Sugarbush took on archery! Both Climbing Masters and On Belay returned to the ropes course to do islands–wood planks suspended by wires that campers have to walk across.

Bucket List had an awesome time today on their fieldtrip to a blueberry picking farm! They came back to camp with plenty of berries to share. Tonight the all camp activity was a rainbow rave in Wettlaufer, the drama building! It featured black lights, a great soundtrack (Taylor Swift is always popular), bubble machines, and a banner to decorate with highlighters. See pictures from Wednesday here.
