Another busy day at Seven Hills, even through the sometimes questionable weather. After a breakfast of french toast, campers started the day strong with all sorts of activities. Archery director Catch helped Highland learn where to put their elbows and how to take aim. Across camp, Tally Ho took some time for a classic camp activity–tie dying! Bunkhouse got out on the lake this morning with their counselors, lifeguards, and waterfront director Howie. The Sneak a Peak juniors headed to archery and had a bit of a competition with their counselors–no word still on who won that one.
Plainsman had some time to watercolor paint in Arts and Crafts, while the JCITs painted their very own wooden name tags. Ropes director Luna had a very busy day today, and Climbing Masters took on three high ropes climbing elements: dangle duo, a ginormous ladder that had to be completed with a partner; catwalk, a log suspended on wires; and the two line, one wire to walk on and one to hold onto.
Both Brownie Lodge and Plainsman had cookouts in their unit for lunch today! Sneak a Peak made pancakes, sausage, and bacon for their breakfast theme, and Plainsman opted for Italian with spaghetti and garlic bread.
Sorcery spent some time in Arts and Crafts making a sorting hat and their Harry Potter wardrobe, while Sugarbush played gaga. Sneak a Peak took on the slip n slide and water balloons at sports, Highland had some time to buy souvenirs in the Tuck Shop, and Plainsman created made slingshots at Arts and Crafts. After dinner, our Sorcery group had a movie night, Sneak a Peak had their closing campfire with the JCITs, and all other campers could choose between Disney trivia and a bippity boppity boutique!
