It’s been another sunny day here at C7H! We started the day singing camp songs before our CIT’s (Counselors in Training) led Flag and Grace, which was then followed by a delicious breakfast of French toast sticks and sausages.
For Harry Potter fans, our Sorcery campers spent their first activity of the day playing quidditch on our sports field. The two teams were Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw vs Gryffindor and Slytherin! The aim of the game was to use the broomsticks to hit the Quaffle into the rings until the Golden Snitch was found! This was definitely a magical start to the day. On the other side of camp our Sneak a Peak campers spent their morning in Arts and Crafts painting wood (look at all the paintings!)
Nature with Feather was an exciting time, as campers learned fire building skills, where they split off into groups to create their own one-match fires!
Following this, for lunchtime, our theme was twin lunch, where campers and counsellors matched their outfit with another camper/counsellor! We also celebrated a few birthdays as well!
After lunchtime, C7H was full of activities with Pony Pals visiting the barn, Sneak a Peak having their lunchtime cookout, Sorcery creating costumes in Arts and Crafts, Climbing Masters taking on our ropes course and Oompa-Loompa’s enjoying their time in the pool!
Just before dinner, our Pony Pals cooled off by the sprinkler through a game of rock, paper, symbol. It was camper vs counsellor and if the counsellor lost, our campers decided how long their counsellor would stand by the sprinkler for! It’s safe to say some counsellors were by the water for a long time, but it was definitely worth it to see the smiles on our campers faces!
After dinner, it was another evening of campers choice with the activities being; Pipe cleaner flowers, karaoke and games in the dining hall! Off camp, our Night Owls spent their evening eating pizza and playing bowling!
For our Sneak a Peak campers, it was their final night here at Camp Seven Hills and what better way to end the week than with a closing campfire led by our CIT’s.
