With all the photos now uploaded online, we are so excited to show you how our campers got on over in the Big Apple just a few short days ago!

To start with, the coach arrived on camp at 6:00am on Tuesday, departing just 30 minutes later to head to the city! With cereal being consumed and Shrek playing on the TV twice, campers finally arrived to Girl Scout Central in the afternoon to look around and shop! After this, they headed to RiseNY to visit the interactive museum along with experiencing the virtual reality ride!

For dinner on the Tuesday, we walked from RiseNY to Ellen’s Stardust Diner, where campers enjoyed food such as pasta, chicken tenders and much more. After dinner was finished, it was time to explore Times Square! Campers were split into groups to shop with a counsellor for 1 hour in any store they wish! Some chose Barnes and Noble, whilst others headed to the M and M store!

After checking in to the hotel on the Tuesday night, it was time to head to bed! Waking up on the Wednesday, campers had breakfast in the hotel before arriving at Ripley-Grier Studios for a Broadway workshop class. Following lunch at 1:15pm, it was finally the moment campers had all been waiting for, as they took their seats to watch Back to the Future and what an incredible time it was!

Once the show had finished, it was unfortunately, time to head home. With a quick dinner stop at Burger King, we finally arrived back at camp in the early hours of the morning before falling back to sleep in our cabents for another fun day at camp!
