It was another busy day at camp on Tuesday for our session 3 campers. Road runners and polar bear swim was a popular activity before breakfast this morning, with many campers hoping to earn their badges!
Our Perfect Shot campers headed to archery for their first session of the day, following breakfast, with most either hitting the target or getting a bullseye! For our highland campers, they spent their morning making ice cream in the dining hall, which many counsellors (including myself) were jealous of!
Plainsman had their lunch as a cookout today, sticking with the theme this week of Battle of the Colours. Team blue had french toast with whipped cream and fruit, whereas the red team had breakfast sandwiches and cherry pie! Although they may have been competing with one another, it’s safe to say both meals looked delicious!
After lunch, activities continued throughout the afternoon with our Brownies enjoying the warm weather at the pool and our Bucket List campers painting over in Arts and Crafts.
Before dinner this evening, our Program Director Lil Dude had the fantastic idea to have a few games of Rock, Paper, Symbol amongst the teams for the chance of winning more points. Two games were played, with the Blue team having won both times, however, red team is still currently in the lead!
Tonight’s campers choice was a dance party and/or friendship bracelets over in Wettlaufer. As you can see in the photos, talents were shown throughout the evening with dance moves being made that us old counsellors would not be able to compete with now!!! Following campers choice, for most units it was time to head to bed, apart from our Sugar Bush campers who enjoyed a late-night glow-stick party and made s’mores over the campfire.
