What a fun day it was here at Camp Seven Hills, especially as the Battle of the Colours continued amongst both the blue and red team throughout the day!

To start with, after a delicious breakfast of pancakes with sausages and fruit (all themed to red/blue), it was time to start our first activities of the day. For our brownies, they headed over to sports for a fun morning of gaga, as our campers over in Highland headed to the pool. Sticking with the theme of water, our campers in plainsman went boating for a fun session before lunch. Over in Archery, our Perfect Shot campers had a fun hour hitting the targets they made in Arts and Crafts, whilst also popping balloons for red vs blue!

After lunch, it was time to have our campers choice of Ultimate Capture the Flag. This was such a fun activity for all campers and staff, with the aim of the game to capture the opposing teams flags whilst defending your own flag through throwing bags of chalk! If you were hit with a bag of chalk, you had to slide down the slip ‘n’ slide before heading back in to the fun chaos! The blue team won this round, having captured both the red team’s flags, but the game is not over yet!

Following our campers choice, more activities took place with our On Belay campers using the high ropes course, as our Bucket List campers created their own mood boards in arts and crafts. As this was going on, Plainsman had the brilliant idea of having a cook off amongst both the red and blue team. With the help of three judges; Sweetcorn, Lil Dude and Freckles, it was decided that although both dishes were delicious, the blue team ultimately won!

With red and blue pasta being served for dinner tonight, it was a fun-filled evening for all campers, as our two team captains; Eggo (red team) and Eleven (blue team) gave us a performance that none of us will forget in years to come…especially as one of them did the worm! After dinner, it was then time to have our closing campfire, with songs being sung and the Lorax being read before heading to bed.
