We are half way through the week and time sure has gone quick! Following breakfast bagels, it was time for some of our campers to head to the barn, as our My 1st Time campers and campers over in Sugarbush headed to sports. Over in Arts and Crafts, our Seven Hills Sorcery wizards and witches spent their morning drawing and doing tie-dye. As this was happening, our Tack and Ride campers headed to nature and spent the hour with our very own camp legend, Feather!
For lunch, our campers had grilled cheese with animal crackers, whilst our CITs enjoyed their very own floating lunch and made their own sandwiches for the occasion. This was super fun and definitely a nice treat for the warm weather, even with some CITs having one goal in mind…to soak their counsellors!
Later on in the afternoon, our Sugarbush campers created clay horses, as our Molly’s Slumber Party campers had a sleepover in Bunkhouse! To make the perfect sleepover, they each had their own tent, along with snacks and the perfect movie choice – Moana! Riding lessons continued in the afternoon, as our CIT’S headed to the ropes course with our Ropes Director, Luna. As this was happening, it was unfortunately time to say goodbye to our My First Time Campers! We hope you had the best time and look forward to seeing you all again next summer!
Over in the dining hall, our Molly’s Slumber Party campers wrote Happy Birthday cards for our very own Molly the Whale, as our JCIT’s either enjoyed their time in the pool or just outside.
After flag and grace, it was finally time to enjoy our dinner’s theme tonight of Asian Fusion! This was made up of chicken, with rice and vegetables along with a variety of sauces including; sweet ‘n’ sour and teriyaki sauce. It was quite possibly the best dinner we have had so far at camp! As always, it was then time to have our final campers choice of the session, which included; ASL, Rounders (American Baseball) and Flag Designs.
Before you leave the blog this evening, we just wanted to quickly mention that we also have a Facebook Group dedicated for parents/guardians who wish to have updates and/or have any questions they would like answered. The group is called GSWNY Camp Seven Hills
