How is it the final week at camp already? This summer has gone by so fast, but we are extremely excited to begin our theme this week of Olympics 2024. As always, once counsellors had completed their morning meeting, it was finally time to welcome our campers, where they would soon find out what unit they are in, along with who their counsellors are!

This week is also super exciting, as our CIT’s are now interns! This means they are able to experience more of what it’s like to be a counsellor at camp from assisting staff with units to leading songs and taking part in certain program areas throughout the week. We are so proud of them and can’t wait to see them continue to shine over the coming days.

Once our campers had settled into their units and completed their swimming/riding tests, it was time for pizza and bug juice down at the dining hall! This was definitely a great meal to enjoy before heading to our final opening campfire of 2024.

With the counsellors and interns performing skits and singing songs, it was another perfect end to a perfect day and we cannot wait to see where the rest of the week takes us for our final session.
