Good Morning Everyone and what a brilliant day It was for our campers here at Seven Hills! From breakfast bagels to bedtime stories, our campers were bursting with energy, creativity, and a whole lot of muddy fun!
After breakfast this morning, our Mud Challenger campers dove (literally) into a fun game of Shaving Cream Twister! But the mess didn’t stop there — they later conquered the mud slip ‘n’ slide, sliding with joy (and dirt) whilst our CIT Frisbee made sure the mud kept flowing!
With the sun shining down, the pool was the place to be all day today! Campers from all around Seven Hills jumped in to cool off and splash around with friends — even some of our counsellors couldn’t resist joining in on the fun. Meanwhile, the delicious smell of campfire cookouts filled the air. Campers at Brownie Lodge, Plainsman, and Sugarbush had meals such as pie iron pizzas and queso with chips. Who knew outdoor cooking could be so gourmet?
Over in Pine Hollow campers had a truly unique nature experience. Guided by our Program Aide, Bambi, they used microscopes to explore what’s living in the lake — with a little help from Molly the Whale of course! On the sports field, our Sorcery campers took to the skies (well, almost!) for intense games of Quidditch, battling it out in their houses with invisible brooms in hand throughout!
Back at Brownie Lodge, creativity bloomed amongst our younger campers with fairy houses being built outside their cabin— and wow, did they deliver! These mini homes are fit for the most magical fairies! As this was happening, our Sugarbush campers let their skills shine in Arts and Crafts, designing and making their very own jewellery. Look at all the designs made! As the day heated up again, the pool called to us once more — because let’s face it, one swim just isn’t enough when the sun is out! Just two minutes down the road, Tally-Ho campers whipped up their own strawberry dole whip!
As the sun set, the evening fun began after dinner. During Campers Choice, everyone picked from three counsellor-led activities, which is a chance for our campers to try out something new with friends! And finally, our Sneak a Peek campers shared their last night together with a heartfelt closing campfire at Bunkhouse. Our amazing CITs led the evening, complete with campfire songs and a special reading of The Lorax.
Another unforgettable day here at Camp Seven Hills — full of friendship, fun, and fairy dust!
