Hello all and welcome back to another Sunday here at Camp Seven Hills! Can you believe we are now starting our 3^rd session this summer? Why is time going by so quickly?!?!

However, today was the start of a new theme – Battle of the Colours (Blue and Red)! This is definitely a favourite amongst campers and counsellors and it tends to get very competitive (myself included – TEAM BLUE)! Our Team Captains this year are Tonks (Blue) and Rascal (Red) with our Spirit Captains Fable (Blue) and Wiggles (Red). It’s certainly going to be an exciting week and I cannot wait to document these moments with you all!

As always, today started with our regular staff catch-up before we welcomed our session 3 campers from the parking lot – and look at all the cute family photos that were taken! Once campers had their temperature check, luggage moved into their units and cookout ideas completed, it was time for their swim test run by our Waterfront Director Frog! Once swim tests and riding tests were completed, dinner was served and what better way to start the week than with Pizza! Choices included cheese, pepperoni, vegetarian and buffalo chicken with a blue cheese sauce…us internationals are truly getting the full American experience!

After bellies were full, it was the best part of our Sunday…opening campfire! As always, songs were sung, skits were made and our team captains were shown to the rest of camp with the blue team winning the first challenge! It’s truly going to be an exciting week and we can’t wait for this to be shown on our campers faces!
