It’s another Monday here at camp and what a brilliant start to the week! Breakfast this morning consisted of; waffles, bacon, cereal and LOTS of syrup…what a great meal to kick start our theme this week of Battle of the Colours!

With all our campers full of waffles and syrup, it was time to start our morning activities and our sports field was the place to be! Gaga was a competitive activity for our campers over in Pinehollow, whilst our Bunkhouse campers spent their first session fishing with Feather! Now that should be on a t-shirt! As you can see with our photo’s, a lot of our campers managed to catch their own fish, which is a super cool skill to learn here at camp…thanks Feather! Over at drama our campers dressed to impress, in which they put on their most fabulous outfits and walked the catwalk to show them off! These outfits would certainly make the cover photo of Vogue if we had it our way!

After lunch today of grilled ham and cheese with chicken noodle soup and pear slices, our campers jumped back into the fun with their team colours being on the back of their mind! Cake designs were created using clay over in Arts and Crafts with our counsellors Pippi and Zaza, whilst our Pine Hollow campers played soccer (football of course!) over at sports! Horse riding, obstacle courses, boating and swimming were all super fun activities that took over our afternoon, whilst our Is it Cake campers decorated their own graham crackers with icing designs – it looked and tasted delicious, thank you Tally-Ho!

With many bowls of pasta and bread sticks being consumed this evening, it was time for our first campers choice of Session 3; gaga/chalk drawing, team flag designs and jeopardy were all the options for tonight and look at all the fun our campers had! We may even have some future artists in our midst!

It’s, once again, been a brilliant day here at Seven Hills and we cannot wait to wake up and do it all over again tomorrow!
