Good morning all and thank you for your patience in receiving the blog posts! After a short break, we are now back and what an exciting few days it’s been for us here at Seven Hills!
Our campers jumped straight into the fun after breakfast yesterday morning with our Highland campers taking part in Archery, our Brownie Lodge campers making hand prints over in arts and crafts and our Pine Hollow campers spending their morning at the pool, as the heat continued to rise!
After lunch and siesta, our Sugarbush campers made bird feeders with Feather over at nature, whilst our Highland lot had an exciting dance party in Wettlaufer…I’m pretty sure Taylor Swift was a main artist played at the dance party. Once our first afternoon session was completed, it was time for Colour Wars! This is where all of camp participates in a battle between the red and blue team for ultimate victory, with the red team currently now in the lead as I write this – good job Red Team! Between 4:30 – 5:30pm, our campers enjoyed their final activity of the day with our Sugarbush campers sliding down our slip ‘n’ slide, as our Highland campers headed over to Drama for a very popular activity…Dress to Impress!
With dinner consisting of mac and cheese, hot dogs and pineapple, unfortunately it was time for our Closing Campfire – as great as our campfires are, it’s always sad to say goodbye to our campers! Counsellors sung their hearts out, awards were presented to campers who have been here for 5+ years and candles were lit down the friendship path! It was truly a beautiful end to an exciting week!
Thank you Session 3 campers!
