Session 4 Wednesday 2025

Can you believe we’re already over half way through Session 4? Where does all the time go?!?! But on a happier note, some of our CIT’s spent their first hour of the day carrying around Goosinda (our 2025 camp mascot!) Look how great she looks in the CIT tie dye t-shirt? As always, once songs were sung to kick start the morning, campers and counsellors headed into the dining hall for their first meal of the day, which consisted of scrambled eggs, sausages, applesauce and cereal…delicious!

With breakfast quickly finished, campers headed off to their first activity of the day. This included; swimming with our scuba campers, a breakfast cookout amongst our plainsman lot, boating for our Sugarbush campers and shopping in our very famous tuck shop (look at all the goodies!)

After lunch of taco in a bag…this is super American to me by the way…it was time to jump back into the fun with even more activities throughout the day! Starting off we had more groups join our boating area with our scuba campers braving it in the rain, our mini session campers had their very own Friday Follies and our Nature Hut was jam-packed with campers who spent their afternoon designing cool nature templates!

Just a quick 5-minute walk away, our Archery area was filled with many campers hoping to get a bullseye, as our Oompa Loompa’s made their own frosting in the dining hall! Small hammers were made for our Brownie Lodge lot, as our campers and JCIT’s spent their final activity session hanging out and potentially even some basketball!

With dinner consisting of ham, potatoes, corn (not Sweetcorn!) and gravy, it was the perfect meal to kick start campers choice. Linking with the theme this week of ‘All around the World in 6 Days’ our options included; Rounders at Sports, the Dragon Dance over in Drama and multiple Arts and Crafts activities!

We hope you all had a fantastic Wednesday!
