Good Morning all and welcome back to the blog! Starting off our morning, counsellors and interns led songs outside our dining hall before we headed in for a delicious breakfast of French toast sticks, sausages and cereal! We even had orange juice as an option, which was the perfect start to a great day!

Following breakfast and our morning kapers, campers jumped straight into the fun with their first round of activities. For example, we had almost a third of all campers head over to the sports field for either a round of gaga, chalk drawing or morning showers! It was certainly jam packed, but from the photos shown, everyone had a great time! As this was all happening, our brownies over at arts and crafts began their morning with a scavenger hunt, whilst our troops kept their creativity flowing mixing nature with arts and crafts! AND for our Scuba campers, they had a fearless morning jumping in the pool for the first time with their full scuba suits on!

After lunch of grilled cheese (or several) with tomato soup and oranges, campers quickly left the dining hall to begin their second round of activities! Chalk drawing was once again the hotspot for campers, as our climbing lot practised low ropes games just next door! Boating, Archery and sports were more areas selected by campers this afternoon as the heat continued to rise and what a fun afternoon it was!

Before we knew it, it was time to head down for dinner before campers attended their first campers choice of the week!

What a great start to the week it’s been for our Session 5 campers and with Monday now finished, we can’t wait to see what else our campers get up to this week!
