Welcome back everyone…can you believe it’s Wednesday already? Today was a super unique day for our campers, who started off their day with a delicious breakfast of waffles, bacon and LOTS of syrup! Linking with the theme of food, once breakfast was eaten and the dining hall was swept up for the morning, our Tally Ho campers headed over to Arts and Crafts to draw their own cakes! Some may have even decorated a Sweetcorn cake, as they all believe my age to be 75! Just down the road, our Mini Session campers spent their first activity dancing away throughout Wettlaufer and I must say, we certainly have a few Taylor Swift fans around camp!
Before heading into lunch with our theme being all about twins, our Sorcery campers led their very own Yule Ball Celebration and it was truly magical! All the wizards and witches danced around with the movie soundtrack playing in the background! Even the magic of Camp Seven Hills can turn our very own Wettlaufer into Hogwarts!
After lunch, our Sugarbush campers headed down the slip ‘n’ slide, but first found it most important to chase myself around with buckets full of water! As you can see, I quickly managed to get my own back before jumping right back into the job to capture the funny moments of our campers quite literally, running down the slide! Boating, fishing with Feather and swimming were the main areas to be this afternoon, with some new activities also taking place in the dining hall. Karaoke, cake decorating and potion making were the final activities before dinner took place, with our very own snape even making a surprise appearance (thank you Fable)!
For dinner this evening, it was as if we were in our very own diner! Hamburgers, French fries and orange slices were the main courses and what a great meal it was – thank you Kitchen Staff! Campers choice this evening had 5 options to choose from! This included; swimming, meditation, just dance, hair brading and camera making in Arts and Crafts!
Today was a perfect day and we can’t wait to do it all over again tomorrow morning!
