We can’t believe today was the final full day here at Camp Seven Hills for summer 2024. It has been the most incredible 5 weeks and what better way to start off the last full day than with french toast sticks and sausages. Once breakfast was devoured, it was time to start our last set of activities for 2024, beginning with our Walk, Trot and Canter campers heading to the barn for a morning session of riding. Just down the road, our JCIT’S had the option to either play tennis or chalk drawing over at the tennis courts near sports.
As these activities were happening, our Oompa Loompa campers made their very own cupcakes, whilst listening to the soundtrack of Wonka. After lunch, boating and arts and crafts were popular destinations for campers to visit this afternoon. Our Climbing Masters spent their afternoon at the high ropes course, whilst our campers over in Sugarbush had a lost unit hike with Feather.
Following dinner of pasta with meatballs and bread and butter, it was unfortunately, time to begin our final closing campfire of the summer. With special guests making an appearance and our annual staff ceremony, it was time to sing songs and light the candles down the friendship path before saying goodnight to our campers for one final sleep at camp.
