Session 5 Wednesday

Today was another fun day here at Camp Seven Hills. After singing songs before completing flag and grace, along with enjoying a delicious breakfast, it was time to jump into our first set of activities for the day.

For our Pony Pals, they headed to arts and crafts for an hour of finger painting, whilst our JCIT’s created musical performances from some of our beloved Broadway shows. As this was happening, our campers staying in Sugarbush spent the first two sessions of the day in nature! Before heading home, our My First Time brownies finished up packing their belongings, before enjoying several games of Gaga over at the sports field. This even included having friendly competitions amongst campers and counsellors, with the campers winning both times.

It was twin lunch today and look how great some of the campers/counsellors matched for the meal! With the menu consisting of grilled cheese, soup and pudding, this was the perfect meal to enjoy before jumping back into our scheduled activities for the day. Swimming in the pool, boating, arts and crafts and archery were popular activities that took place today. In addition, our Perfect Shot campers spent the afternoon completing a scavenger hunt as our climbing masters hit the high ropes course.

Following dinner, it was then time for our final camper’s choice of the summer. This included; Chalk drawing, gaga and line dancing. For most campers, it was then time for bed, however, our Night Owls had a kitchen raid before ‘playing dead’ to avoid getting caught! Once they grabbed their supplies, it was time to make s’mores over at the sports field before playing glow stick games.
