A hot, beautiful second day at Camp Seven Hills!
Our day started with announcing the theme for the week at breakfast: Hollywood.
The Horse of Course group started their day in the barn with morning lessons. Then they continued their afternoon going on the Lost Unit Hike, spending time at arts and crafts and in drama.
Our Fun in the Sun girls spent time swimming in the pool, visiting the Tuck Shop, making journals in arts and crafts, and discovering what makes themselves truly happy.
Where’s Your Spirit spent much of the day making and practicing their cheer routine (which they will reveal on Friday). They also went shopping in the Tuck Shop, spent time playing in the pool, and practiced archery.
High Adventures spent the morning doing new low ropes activities. Continuing in the afternoon, the girls went on the Lost Unit Hike, had fun in Drama, and spent time boating!
The Discover the Fun girls went boating this morning, along with swimming in the pool and visiting the Tuck Shop. In the afternoon, they played Gaga (a game similar to dodgeball) and also got to practice archery.
The Extreme Trees & Kayak Adventures group spent the morning doing arts and crafts and playing Gaga. Their afternoon was filled with time at the ropes course, where they completed the Centipede Element with blindfolds. They also did activities at sports.
The Crazy for Horses girls spent their morning at archery and doing elements in the low ropes course. Then their afternoon was spent at the barn!
Our Dances with Branches girls did the low ropes this morning along with Centipede (one of our High Ropes Elements!) Then had more fun in the afternoon at arts and crafts and in drama.
Our CITs went for a visit to Camp Timbercrest and are spending time with our sister camp’s CITs.
The busy day was finished with cook outs by each unit, where they prepare their own dinners and desserts over a campfire as a unit.
