We had a great start to the eventful week our counselors have planned! With beautiful weather, our first day went exactly as we hoped.
Our Where’s Your Spirit girls started creating their own cheer uniforms this morning then continued having fun during the afternoon making skits in drama and taking the Lost Unit Hike in Nature.
The Dances with Branches girls spent time on the Ropes Course doing team-building activities, having time in the Tuck Shop, boating, and doing work toward a badge.
Our Extreme Tree and Kayak Adventures group spent time in the Tuck Shop, working on badge work, and then spent the rest of the morning at archery. Their afternoon was filled with time doing Ropes Course team-building and boating.
The Fun in the Sun group spent the morning on the low ropes course doing team-building activities. During the afternoon, they went on the Lost Unit Hike and spent time at archery.
The Crazy for Horses girls spent time in the Tuck Shop and played at sports during the morning. In the afternoon the girls were at the barn, had their first lesson and worked on making the travel to pasture safer for horses.
High Adventures had fun doing ropes activities all morning and then spent time during the afternoon at the pool, in the tuck shop, and making things in arts and crafts.
Our Discover the Fun girls spent had fun arts and crafts, created skits in drama, and went on the Lost Unit Hike as a unit!
A Horse of Course had their first lesson this morning and the girls learned many new things in the barn. During the afternoon they spent time doing badge work, Tuck Shop, and making things in arts and crafts.
Our CITs started the day off doing basic camp things and then did team-building activities on the ropes course. After spending time in arts and crafts, the girls finished a fun afternoon in the pool before dinner.
The busy day was finished with fun camper choice activities, where every camper is given four activities to pick from.
