Week 5 – Day 1!

Our first day at Camp Seven Hills was a beautiful sunny day, full of excitement!

It’s My First Time girls went to the Tuck Shop and boating this morning. Then during the afternoon, they did badge work, visited nature, and went swimming in the pool.

The Camping My Way group went boating and to drama during the morning. Then spent the afternoon visiting the Tuck Shop, making journals in arts and crafts, and swimming in the pool.

Our Canter Up girls spent the morning at the barn, then visited the Tuck Shop, went boating, and did archery in the afternoon.

The Aqua Girls started their day swimming laps and beginning their training. The afternoon was filled with arts and crafts, archery, and playing Gaga (a game like dodgeball).

Highwire Adventures worked on earning badges, visiting the Tuck Shop, and making things in arts and crafts for the morning. Then spent the afternoon doing ropes activities and playing Gaga.

Our Heads Up, Heels Down group completed badge work, visited the Tuck Shop, and went to arts and crafts for the morning, then spent the entire afternoon at the barn!

The Climbing, Climb Away girls spent the morning in drama and arts and crafts. Then filled their afternoon doing activities on the low ropes course, boating, and working on badge  work.

The Great Cupcake Challenge group played team-building games on the low ropes course and went boating for the morning. Then in the afternoon they went swimming in the pool, visited the Tuck Shop, and made things in arts and crafts. Their night finished with a camp out.

Imagine and Connect girls spent the morning on the low ropes course and boating. Then their afternoon was spent swimming in the pool, visiting the Tuck Shop, and going to arts and crafts. Their night was completed with a camp out.

Paws and Claws played team-building games and spent time in arts and crafts in the morning then had a fun-filled afternoon making Fairy Houses and doing badge work in their unit. Their night was finished with a camp out at sports.

The Survivor Girls went to nature and drama in the morning, then spent the afternoon at arts and crafts and archery!

Our Backpacking the Allegheny National Forest group went to drama and the Tuck Shop during the morning. Then they spent the afternoon preparing for their trip and learning information in nature. Their night was finished with star gazing!

Our CITs spent the day with their new shadows, which they received Sunday night. They got to experience what life in a unit with a group of girls would be like, a day being a counselor.

The day ended with Camper’s Choice, an event where each girl picks an activity to participate in after dinner. Tonight’s choices were dance party, dream catcher making, rounders, and boot camp!
