We are all safe and sound here at Seven Hills! The windy and rainy weather resulted in some fun times in the dining hall. Please see our Flickr page in the upcoming days for a video of our power-free afternoon. For now you can enjoy pictures from the Amazing Race’s color run and the Secret Agent Girl crime scene: Flickr link.
Our Dr. Seuss brownies, JCITs, Secret Agent Girls, and Amazing Racers will be leaving us this evening at our 7 PM parent program. We are excited for a relaxing weekend with our two-week campers. We will be bringing new campers in on Sunday as well, so look out for more pictures to the Flickr page!
P.S.: Girls can do amazing things with Girl Scouts all year long – click here to learn more! Plus, the first 50 people to renew for 2018 Camp by August 13th, 2017 will receive a 2018 Camp sweatshirt (2018 Camp re-registrations for this promotion can be done in person at camp by August 13, 2017). Also, create an account in WordPress and enable the browser notifications to get instant notifications about new camp blog posts even when you are not actively using WordPress.com.
P.P.S. If you have any photos of dropping off your camper that you’d like to share, we’re excited to see them! We’ll post them on social media, plus we’d love to possibly use them in future marketing materials. Send your camper pics to firstname.lastname@example.org with your girl’s name and camp unit or program, plus if she a first-timer or a repeat camper.

It is good to know that everything in the camp in general is fine. I want to see photos of the programs “A horse of Course” and “Crazy for horses”. I would also like to know what activities to do.
When the Seven Hills staffer goes out to take photos, she does it at random, so we can’t guarantee any particular photos of any particular groups of girls. She tries her best to stop by each of the girls’ activities, but that’s not always possible with her other administrative duties.
How about some pictures of the 2-week ropes course girls? We haven’t seen them since before the Tornado / weather event and really miss them! Thank you. 🙂
Hi, Angela, When the Seven Hills staffer goes out to take photos, she does it at random, so we can’t guarantee any particular photos of any particular groups of girls. But I personally hung out with the ropes course girls yesterday and they’re doing great! — Susan C, GSWNY staff
