A few days through staff week and so much has been accomplished!
First and foremost, happy birthday to our program aide Shallot!!!
To recap, this past Saturday, our camp searched for wandering Waldos spread across the sections of Seven Hills camp. It looked like the ropes staff had a blast going up to the bridge and belaying each other during training. It was a great opportunity to take some action shots. Thank you Laura for training ropes!
On Sunday ropes moved onto the zip lines! Seven Hills has fun outdoor cooking equipment, like cast iron pie pans, dutch ovens, box ovens, and even solar ovens! An assortment of snacks and sweets were the product of the cookware. The fan favorites were the s’mores dip, cherry cobbler (YUM!), and stuffed waffles.
Today I had fun with the staff making some video content for Camp Seven Hills…stay tuned!! Many of the staff had very creative ideas I can’t wait for you to see! We capped the night off with a story and toothbrush party, getting ready to welcome our campers next week. We even had a very special guest, Goosinda, join us for the party! She was all bundled up in her squirrel outfit despite the heat advisory.
