Today was an exciting day at Seven Hills as we welcomed campers and their families for the start of an amazing week! Our staff helped unload luggage and get campers settled into their units. Molly the Whale was thrilled to welcome so many new and returning faces to camp! This summer’s theme is “Your Adventure Begins Now,” and we can’t think of a better way to kick off a week full of fun!
Once everyone was settled in, we jumped into our first-day traditions. Campers completed their swim tests, and those participating in our riding programs took part in horse-riding evaluations. During the downtime before dinner, campers made new friends and enjoyed lots of games around camp.
Dinner was pizza and fresh salad. After a week of hot weather, Mother Nature finally brought some much-needed rain. Although our Opening Campfire had to move indoors, the change of location didn’t dampen the fun or excitement. It was a wonderful way to kick off the week together and celebrate the beginning of everyone’s adventure!
