Late Tuesday update!
Before the rain rolled through Seven Hills we spent time at the pool and on horseback, soaking up as much sun as possible! When the rain came by, we pivoted to indoor activities like sculpting with clay in arts and crafts and singing on the stage in drama!
Tally-ho moved their location for their cook-out to the plainsman shelter, so they were still able to roast their pizza hotdogs on the fire and cook up a big ole pot of mac and cheese!
I stuck with the Sugarbush unit for their trip off camp to Grand Island Fun Center. Because rain moved into Western New York, the campers headed to the arcade instead. They received unlimited-play cards for the fun games along with a point-loaded card to win prizes at claw machines. Many of them won some cool prizes like squishy balls, plushies, and fidget toys! Grand Island Fun Center was accommodating per the weather forecast and gave each camper a free mini golf voucher so they can come back and enjoy a round on a sunnier day. Keep an eye out for the voucher when collecting camper’s folders at pick-up on Friday!
We made it back just in time for a meatball sub dinner in the dining hall! After dinner, campers headed to Camper’s Choice activities, where they could enjoy Bussin’ Bingo, origami, or karaoke over at the drama building. Rain or shine, there’s always something exciting happening at Seven Hills!
